The recent facelift to halfemptyclothing.com was not just a case of putting lipstick on a pig as some politicians would say. The site improvement also came with an upgrade in the shirts we print our designs on.

As of October 1st, Half Empty Clothing has switched to printing all of our designs on 100% cotton American Apparel t-shirts. The American Apparel shirts have a much softer feel and a slightly slimmer fit than the brand we used to print on, and since we strive to provide the highest quality of product possible the switch made sense.

Unfortunately though, good things usually aren’t free, so we have had to raise out prices a tad. The new standard price point for all of our shirts is $17.99, but when you buy a shirt you will know where your extra $3 went.

(just in case it isn’t clear, the extra $3 went to pay for a different kind of shirt)

Oh, on a side note, you don’t necessarily have to look like a filthy hippie to wear an American Apparel shirt. That’s just what their models look like. I assure you, people who shower also wear American Apparel shirts.
